Anderson Cooper Talks To The Real Life Seven Dwarfs!

Anderson Cooper will tap into his inner Snow White on Friday when he welcomes a family of seven dwarfs onto his syndicated talk show, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Standing just over four feet tall each, the Johnstons are a married couple of achondroplastic dwarfs who adopted three dwarf children who desperately needed an understanding home, and had two biological dwarf children of their own.

While they are short in height, unconventional parents Amber and Trent are big on traditional American family values and shared their story with the CNN news anchor turned talk show host on Anderson.

"I have been inspired to share our story of being the true seven dwarfs," Amber told Cooper when asked why she had e-mailed him to appear on the show.

She went on to explain the differences in the terminology for people of her stature and what they found offensive.

"[Dwarf] is positive. Little person is the same, dwarf is the scientific terminology, midget is the word to stay away from," said Amber. "That's derogatory.

"I want to have viewers see that we live and we're not like every other person, obviously. We can accomplish things like other people can, but of course we have to do it in different ways."

Anderson diplomatically asked her 9-year-old daughter, Elizabeth, how she felt about being called the "M word?"

"It makes me feel sad and mad because it's not really nice. Some people at my school they call me a midget," she replied.

"I just tell them that's just how God created me, and that's how he loves me and stuff."

Amber went on to reveal that sometimes the family gets upset when people in the street treat them like freaks and ask for photos.

"Some people are doing it to be ugly. We've had that happen in even our own town that we live in. People are curious, and people don't know how to ask questions. And it's our objective to educate people," said the mom of five.

"We'll take the time to pose for the photo, but I'd rather educate and let you know. Therefore when you share that photo with whoever, you know what you're talking about and you're not talking about a circus side show or something like that."
