It’s Anderson’s Halloween Spectacular! Anderson and his entire studio audience are dressed up in costume and receive a surprise visit from one of his daytime idols. Anderson invites psychic medium Lisa Williams to his house to find out if it really is haunted.
Anderson also sends Lisa to investigate a viewer’s home, which the viewer claims is haunted. Anderson sends paranormal experts Dustin Pairee and Robert Szarek to check things out in Monticello, Florida, which has been called the most haunted small town in the South. Plus, pumpkin carving tips!

Chaz Bono stops by the “Anderson” studio to talk about his transition and what he has learned about himself and others from competing on “Dancing with the Stars.” He receives a surprise phone call from his mother, Cher, who tells Anderson how she feels about Chaz's transition, and and what she really thinks about the judges’ criticism of her son.
Anderson also speaks with Wendy Dickey, the controversial mother who dressed her young daughter for a pageant as Julia Roberts -- playing a prostitute in “Pretty Woman." She'll discuss her thoughts on the “Toddlers & Tiaras” debate.
Anderson continues accepting viewers’ challenges for his new segment, “Try This,” and substitute teaches for a very deserving kindergarten teacher when he takes over the classroom and surprises her with a much needed afternoon at the spa.

Anderson speaks with Stephanie Madoff Mack, widow of Bernie Madoff’s son Mark, who committed suicide on the second anniversary of his father’s arrest. Mack discusses her reaction to mother-in-law Ruth Madoff and brother-in-law Andrew Madoff’s interviews with “60 Minutes.”
Stephanie shares for the first time the dramatic change in her life since Madoff’s ponzi scheme was uncovered.
“Top Chef’s” Padma Lakshmi stops by to judge the Anderson Top Chef Challenge, where viewers prepare different versions of spinach for Anderson to try.

“Buried Treasure” stars, the Keno brothers, help viewers determine if their possessions are trash or treasure. Even Anderson’s mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, joins in on the fun to find out the value of some of her treasures.
Anderson speaks with Bertie McConnell, who at age 90 accepted a bid to join the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority chapter at Washburn University! McConnell postponed her dream of joining the sorority in 1941 to help with the war effort.
