Anderson Cooper’s New Daytime Show Starts September 12
September 05, 2011 -- 10:05 AM EDT
Anderson Cooper's name has become synonymous with CNN for 10 years now. When you say CNN, lots of images of him roll in front of your eyes.
He's one of those unique and fearless journalists who approach story-telling with passion and care. Whether it's about reporting from the most dangerous places on the face of the earth, going beyond the headlines in AC 360, or contributing to CBS' 60 Minutes, Cooper's energy never ceases to put new projects in motion. This is also the case with his new baby, the light-hearted daytime one-hour talk show, Anderson.
A show that is about real people who have a story to tell, about celebrities, pop culture as well as social issues, Anderson premieres Monday, September 12. Cooper, who will be both host and Executive Producer, looks forward to interacting with his live audience which he will be welcoming at Jazz at Lincoln Center's The Allen Room, in a studio with the most amazing view, facing Columbus Circle and New York's Central Park.
Although daytime television is new territory for the news anchor, Cooper is positive that Anderson's mission to engage both his studio audience as well as people watching from home will be successful.
Throughout his entire life and career, Cooper was guided by his mother's advice to follow his bliss. It is exciting to watch and follow his work, as he keeps inspiring others through a big spectrum of compelling and interesting stories.
