NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN FOR 2010

CNN usually chooses 7 people in 6 categories, some of them, like "COMMUNITY CRUSADER Creating solutions to a local problem or social issue" is almost complete. From these 49 people we vote and CNN selects the 10 people with the most votes, and those will be the final contestants. You can see the nominees so far here: NOMINEES.

To nominate a person you think has done a lot for the community, you can go here: HEROES.

I nominated Anderson because of his skills to report and help the people from the area where he is reporting from; like that child he carried away from danger in Haiti. I know he will not be selected as a nominee, but at least he, or they at CNN, will know that Anderson is appreciated.
