I watched this video about six times this morning and I still can't figure out what really is going on. I really, really don't believe Anderson had been drinking alcohol before the broadcast, or hardly ANY alcohol at any time. This seems like a sick joke or a very, very good computer nerd with the know-how to make the film look and sound like Anderson is slurring his words. Most probably Anderson is really tired and the lack of sleep is taking its toll on him. Does somebody out there saw the whole broadcast; I doubt he was slurring like this through out the evening. Does anybody know what happened? I would appreciate if you'd let me know. I didn't think I would ever say this, but I really feel I am in an episode of the Twilight Zone.
I saw the show and Anderson was obviously exhausted. Although he did slur some words at several times throughout the program, it was not at all as the video portrays.
Sounds to me like they slowed down the audio to make him sound more slurred. These clips were all of his slip ups linked together and in no way did he sound like this for the entire program, it was merely a few isolated incidents.
For these people who linked the video together to imply that Anderson had been drinking is just silly and I believe they meant it to be funny and not devious, but that is just MHO. Anderson has stated many times that he is not a drinker.
Rest assured, he is fine. He was fine last evening and also this morning on R&K. Nothing a good sleep could not set to rights. It's cute that you were concerned for him.
After watching the video over and over again for about eight hours I realized there must have been some tweaking with the film itself to produce this effect. I never thought Anderson would have been drinking that much, that obviously.
