Last night on Anderson Cooper 360º's LiveBlog, our frequent visitor, commentator and friend Maureen (a.k.a.PurpleGummieBear; a.k.a. PGB) started a little conversation going on where Anderson himself addressed Maureen directly.
Congratulations Maureen!
Now you know how it feels to be a teenager again. God knows, for different reasons I have been there several times myself. Enjoy! it for as long as it lasts.

Good Evening everyone! Anderson, I want to ask you a question. Well, I think I know the answer but I’ll ask the question anways. If Gaza opens their boarders for foreign reporters on Tuesday would you go to Gaza or Obama’s inaguation?

Itis not Hamas keeping reporters out of Gaza. Israel is the force that has closed the borders going into Gaza.

Maureen - as much as i want to go to Gaza, if it happened next week i would have to stay and cover the inaugural. it’s a historic and remarkable event and i wouldnt want to miss it.

I think that would be an excellent choice Anderson.

Thank you Anderson for answering my question. Obama’s inaguation is a once in a lfetime event and very historic. I don’t think this event in Gaza will be the only one. I’m never negative on things but Israel and someone is always in conflict with each other. Its been going on even before I was born.
