Exclusive 'Gossip': Nate's getting a cousin!

Gossip Girl is wisely expanding Chace Crawford's enviable gene pool in the form of a cousin for Nate.

The yet-to-be-cast character is in his 20s and described as wealthy, confident, politically-minded and — all together now — extremely good-looking.

But before you go fixing him up with Blair, you should know that cuz is married. You should also know that his name is Kip Vanderbilt, so brace yourselves for the inevitable "Anderson Cooper cameo" rumors. But all signs are that Kip is not a descendent of that Vanderbilt family. For starters, Kip's dad's name is William, not Cornelius.
