Rise-N-Shine, the makers of Go Away Gray will give Anderson Cooper, the iconic reporter for CNN and CBS, a million bucks to get rid of the gray hair for five years.
Never mind that Anderson Cooper could probably buy and sell Rise-n-Shine with his American Express Black card because he is an scion to the Vanderbilt fortune.
Here’s how the company sees the offer…
- “While Cooper may not need the extra cash, he may decide to go ahead with it and donate the million dollars to a worthwhile charity. We feel like Anderson Cooper is a really visible and well-respected figure and thought he would be a great spokesperson for the product and the company.”
She then reveals her real motive: she is hitting on him.
- “plus it doesn’t hurt that he is a handsome man.”
The company will pony up the dough Cooper after he uses the pills (pills?) for 60 days and shares his experiences with the new look via social media such as Twitter and Facebook.
Yup, build a brand based on looks and then change the reason most people remember who you are. Hello? Rise-n-Shine marketing? You really think AC will go for this?
No? Didn’t think so.
Here is your free plug.
