...I had already bought my heavy duty zoom lens and joined Anderson's gym. I was waiting for the day Anderson and I would be taking a shower together to, "SURPRISE! You are on Candid Camera, Anderson!" And with some luck, Benjamin would be on the background!!! Needless to say, I fell off the couch where I was taking a nap. My head bump still hurts a little.

'Playgirl' Retracts Offer for Anderson Cooper Nude Photos

I never thought I'd be saying kudos to Playgirl, but kudos to Playgirl. I thought Anderson Cooper could be in for some trouble when Playgirl put out a $10K offer for photos of him nude. Thank goodness they quickly realized their mistake and took back their offer. So, don't bother hunting down Anderson to snap nude pics of him!

Remember when we announced Playgirl was offering $10,000 to anyone who could deliver them nude Anderson Cooper photos? Well, I was fearful that all kinds of creeps were going to start stalking Anderson, waiting to rip his clothes off and snap a nudie photo of him. And um, Anderson's job is kind of important. And dangerous enough already. Right?

Well, Playgirl finally figured that out and they've retracted their offer! Playgirl's Daniel Nardicio tells E! News, "I got some guys who claimed they had pics of Anderson's goods, but then I did a gut check and the whole affair seemed unseemly...I changed my mind and took the offer off the table, considering Anderson is in Japan reporting..."

Good call, Nardicio! The last thing Anderson needs while he's in tsunami-torn Japan is creeps trying to catch him nude. But was there anything that brought Nardicio to that decision? He does, in fact, mention "the whole Jake Gyllenhaal urinal stalker..." You know, the creep who followed Jake Gyllenhaal into the bathroom at SXSW and took a photo of him doing his business?

There are enough weirdos in the world. Let's not start offering them big money to keep up their weird behavior. If Playgirl really wants nude photos of Anderson Cooper, they're going to have to offer him a deal to come pose for them directly. And it will have to be a whole lot more than $10K.
