Donald Trump Tells Anderson Cooper: Barack Obama Birth Certificate is Missing

Donald Trump is at it again. In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, the host of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice” and possible presidential candidate, is now making the ridiculous claim that President Barack Obama’s birth certificate is “missing!”

The news first broke earlier tonight on CNN’s Anderson Cooper’s Twitter account:

“Donald Trump now suggesting Obama’s birth certificate is missing or not in Hawaii at all! Full intv tonite #ac360 10p”

And, the following is the direct quote from Trump, which aired on CNN:

“Well I’ve been told very recently, Anderson, that the birth certificate is missing. I’ve been told that it’s not there or it doesn’t exist. And if that’s the case it’s a big problem.”

For the past few weeks, Trump has claimed that he sent a team of investigators to Hawaii to track down Obama’s birth certificate. However, it appears this so-called investigative team is MIA, according to Cooper’s latest Tweet on the subject:

“Does Trump really have investigators in hawaii looking into obama’s birth? We went there, but couldn’t find anyone they’d talked with.”

What’s making the real estate tycoon’s Obama birth certificate claims even more bizarre? CNN is now reporting that the former director of the Hawaii Department of Health said she has seen the original birth certificate in the vault at the Department of Health.

Case closed? Not if you’re Donald Trump trying to secure big ratings for the rest of the season of “Celebrity Apprentice!”
