CNN’s Anderson Cooper Challenges New HLN Host Dr. Drew: ‘You Seem To Be Rocking My Look’

CNN’s Anderson Cooper took a few moments away from the serious matters of war and politics to talk to brand new HLN host Dr. Drew Pinsky, whose show Dr. Drew launched Monday at 9 p.m. Noting that he’s “not sure there’s room for so many prematurely gray guys,” on CNN, Cooper took it one step further, donning his signature black framed glasses and telling Dr. Drew (in a “Keeping Them Honest” style of questioning) “you seem to be rocking my look in terms of eyewear.”

Dr. Drew insisted his own black frames were not new–and not chosen to “rock” Cooper’s look. But no, it didn’t stop there. Cooper wondered why–in the double box–he seemed to look almost “Snooki tan,” when both Cooper and Drew are, he said, “equally pale.” Dr. Drew, eager to plug his show before the interview was over, said “filters” must explain Cooper’s somewhat darker skin tones, and hey, by the way, it’s really great to be a part of the CNN/HLN family and should we talk about my show at all?
