Minneapolis, MN. (IBNN NEWS/October 27, 2010)…In breaking news, Minnesota 5th Congressional District candidate Lynne Torgerson (Independent) will make a guest appearance on Anderson Cooper’s CNN show 360 (AC360), tonight at 9 p.m. (CST).
Lynne Torgerson, who is running as an Independent or Stateswoman has gained national attention in her efforts to unseat the two-term incumbent Congressman Keith Ellison, first elected to congress in 2006.
On Saturday (10/23), the Tea Party Nation sent a mass e-mail urging support of Lynne Torgerson, the challenger in Minnesota’s Fifth District. Torgerson is running against incumbent Keith Ellison, about whom the e-mail stated:
“There are a lot of liberals who need to be retired this year, but there are few I can think of more deserving than Keith Ellison. Ellison is one of the most radical members of congress. He has a ZERO rating from the American Conservative Union. He is the only Muslim member of congress. He supports the Counsel for American Islamic Relations, HAMAS and has helped congress send millions of tax to terrorists in Gaza.”
Tune in tonight for what will be the “Tipping Point” of Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District race.
