What Was The Office Trying to Say About Anderson Cooper?

It seems Anderson Cooper just can't catch a break these days. CNN's Silver Fox has been the target of endless speculation about his sexuality on the Internet for ages, but tonight, the talk switched to another medium... maybe? Video inside.

In this clip from tonight's episode of The Office, the Dunder Mifflin crew is enjoying happy hour at a local bar when we catch Angela and Dwight, mid-conversation, curiously discussing Cooper.


[Gawker does not release their videos, so I had to download the whole episode of "The Office." Here it is, go to the 14:00 minutes mark and shortly thereafter you'll hear the comment made, or almost made, about Anderson.]

So, what were they trying to say? Was this "ridiculous thing" Angela had heard related to Cooper's sexuality—she would be the type to think of something so benign in that way, after all—or was it it about something completely unrelated (though we can't think of too many plausible alternatives)?
