Angelina Jolie is normal. She, like the rest of us, is totally fascinated by Anderson Cooper. She likes him for his reporting style, which is very well-established. But, like the rest of us, she also likes HIM. Brad Pitt is only a consolation boy toy, a Great consolation toy, but a boy toy nonetheless. Anderson is the man Angelina admires for his mind and adores for his impeccable good looks. Otherwise how would you explain the fact that whenever Ms Jolie has some big news to announce to the world she selects Anderson as the communicator? She is fascinated by him, she adores him. And who could blame her.

All this is, of course, not true, but wouldn't it make great tabloid news... and maybe even a picture of the week on "Lifetime" or a Mexican telenovela with Gael Garcia Bernal playing Anderson, Diego Luna playing Brad Pitt and La India Maria playing Angelina! Just a thought; perhaps a big Hollywood producer will come across this pitch and I become... awake! With a bump on my head from falling from the bed... Oh well, that's what dreams are for: nice stories and bumps on the head.

Angelina Jolie To Join Anderson Cooper On World Refugee Day




LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Angelina Jolie will be joining CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” on World Refugee Day on June 18, Access Hollywood has learned.

The humanitarian star has been filming the spy drama “Salt” on location in New York City and Washington, D.C., but she hasn’t forgotten about her causes. Jolie wrote an article for Time magazine earlier this month expressing outrage over the conflict in Darfur.

“Darfur has almost disappeared from the news, and experts now call it a ‘low-intensity’ conflict. But the intensity of the crisis has not lessened for those who are struggling to survive,” she wrote at the time, imploring the United Nations Security Council to move forward on the issue.

The actress was named a UN Goodwill Ambassador in 2001, working under the UN’s High Commissioner for Refugees.
