This video is a tribute to Anderson Cooper. The poem is inspired by his amazing book “Dispatches from the Edge” and his work in Haiti. Anderson Cooper is a true real life hero, a person to look up to and admire for his amazing job, his charisma, his sensibility to situations happening around the world. He is a true inspiration. Poem: Anderson Cooper: The Haitian Hero They call you the Haitian Hero for saving a wounded young boy. Id say you are really an angel sent from the heavens above. With a heart full of sorrow and a mellow look in your eyes. You talk about famine, death and destruction hoping the world can act right. At a very young age no more than 10 years old, you learned that loss can strike like lighting and leave you feeling sad, angry and cold. Yet this didnt stop you from always looking to strive. Always moving like a shark always moving to stay alive. It all started with the personal search looking to match inner and outer pain. Yet you ended up being a hero for the stuff you did again and again. Today you travel the world and where there is conflict, there you will be. Making people conscious of the rehab we desperately need. I know you think about your father and how much you want him here. But Im sure he is proudly watching over you next to your brother who is also close and very near. You wish Carter would have never left and you have longed for the pain to disappear. But hes the guardian angel that walks next to you. Hes the big brother who is always...
