June 15, 2010 -- Anderson Cooper has become somewhat of a star as he has spent countless nights in Louisiana on live TV talking about the Gulf Oil disaster spill. Again last night he was on the evening program getting access to show America what is going on in a fragile environmen. From the angles of how the oil has reached the shores, to going out on boats with the political figures, the man from CNN keeps asking questions.
Anderson Cooper really has developed a respectable celebrity status during this entire environmental crisis. When you ask anyone who is reporting live in the Gulf Reporting, they all have the same answer: Cooper. We usually see Anderson in studio, but that was over a month ago and since the spill it appears he has been fronting the focus on what is going on.
This isn’t surprising as he was also one of the first journalists in Haiti showing the aftermath of the earthquake as well. Refusing to talk less, he kept going and allowed the world to see what was going on first hand encouraging people to get involved.
If you think about it, Anderson Cooper has become a celebrity in his own right. Not only does he report, he gives an interactive focus on the whole situation, which is exactly what we need.
As for the pressure he puts on BP Oil, we all appreciate his efforts and hope he keeps it up until every drop of oil is cleaned up in the Gulf of Mexico waters.
