Anderson Cooper: 'I think there's a basic lack of transparency in [BP's] dealings'

NYTimes' Brian Stelter writes today about Anderson Cooper and his roughly 20 days reporting from the Gulf Coast. While we've noted that some CNN anchors have had some access, "AC360" reportedly requests interviews with BP execs every day, but has been denied access since May 19th:
- Mr. Cooper said that he finds it "odd." He also said that he was amazed that the company has not allowed more cameras onto the rig and into the engineering room. "They have a remarkable story. They're working very hard. And nobody sees that," he said, quickly adding, "They're not allowing anybody to see that."
