CNN’s Anderson Cooper reports that BP owns 20 percent of the company that makes the toxic dispersant Corexit. This toxin is banned in the UK. It kills the microbes that would break down oil over time.
Parish President Billy Nungesser states that we cannot skim or gather the oil when it has been dispersed. This toxic dispersant has the oil sinking and coating the bottom of the bay and near our shores. We then cannot harness the sludge.
Now we have two toxins. BP still is spraying this toxic dispersant. Is it trying to hide something?
