Anderson Cooper Asks Sanjay Gupta: What Do Steroids Do To A Man's "Bits And Pieces?"

With steroids in the news as much as they have been the last few days, Anderson Cooper wanted Dr. Sanjay Gupta to clear up an age-old rumor for him: what exactly do steroids do to a man's "bits and pieces?"

Sanjay explains in words Anderson was too bashful to use: "A man's testes basically produce hormones — testosterone. If you're giving the testosterone, the testes will say, "Well, look, we don't have to produce it anymore. We're already getting it somewhere else.' So they will actually shrink."
