HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!

I’ve been waiting for a long time to take my turn to find you, and now the
moment is near. There is still a some time for me to arrive, I still do not exist. You will
create me. You’ll give me life with your projects, your thoughts, your
words, your feelings, but most of all with your actions.

My name is 2010, although every body knows me by the common name of “the new
year.”

Right now, I have not form. I’m not an incredible year, but neither am I horrible.
I’m neither brilliant nor opaque.
How do you want me to be?

Soon you’ll have an agenda that carries my name and, as it has my name, I have
the right to ask you for something. I want to grant me one wish. Only one.
I ask that you make me THE BEST YEAR OF YOUR LIFE.

Let’s see. Which of the other years has asked you this? I bet you
NONE. I come and I stand on my four numbers right in front of you, because
I want to be the year when you dare to do more things; the year in which
you think and act bigger, in which you share your talents and possibilities
with a lot more generosity, the year when your mind, your heart and your body will
produce
better things, with honesty, for your benefit and that of those
around you. The year when you give more love and attention to your family and friends.

Today, I join the celebrations to say good-bye to 2009. It was. It’s ups and
downs are leaving with it. Now it’s my turn. Please! Enjoy me, use me to the
maximum, fill me up with experiences, have fun while we are together. I want
to leave next December tired, but filled with goodness and with
the privilege to have been the best of all. I will have achieved my goal.
I’ll live forever in you, because you will not be able to forget the incredible days during
our time together.

At the end, when the bells call my arrival, remember me, breath
deep and... Go forth into the future NOW!

FELIZ AÑO 2010!

Tengo mucho tiempo esperando mi turno para encontrarme contigo, y ya se
acerca el momento. Aunque falta poco para que llegue, aún no existo. Tú me
vas a crear. Me darás vida con tus proyectos, tus pensamientos, tus
palabras, tus sentimientos, pero sobre todo con tus acciones.

Me llamo 2010, aunque todos me conocen con el poco original nombre de "el año que
entra".

Hasta hoy, no tengo forma. No soy un año increíble, pero tampoco horrible.
No soy brillante no opaco...
¿Cómo quieres que sea?

Pronto usarás esa agenda que lleva mi nombre y, como lleva mi nombre, tengo
derecho a exigirte algo. Deseo que me concedas un privilegio. Sólo uno.
Quiero que me hagas EL MEJOR AÑO DE TU VIDA.

A ver, ¿cuál de tus otros años te había pedido esto? Te apuesto que
NINGUNO. Yo sí vengo y me planto con mis cuatro números frente a ti, porque
quiero ser el año en que te atrevas a hacer mas cosas; el año en que
pienses y actúes más en grande, en que compartas tus talentos y capacidades
con mayor generosidad; el año en que tu mente, corazón y cuerpo produzcan
mejores cosas, en una forma honesta, para tu beneficio y el de los que te
rodean. El año en que más cariño y atención brindes a los tuyos.

Hoy, me uno a las celebraciones para despedir a 2009. Ya fue. Sus altas y
bajas se van con él. Ahora me toca a mí. ¡Por favor! Disfrútame, úsame al
máximo, lléname de experiencias, diviértete mientras estamos juntos. Quiero
irme con el siguiente diciembre agotado, pero lleno de cosas buenas y con
el privilegio de haber sido el mejor de todos. Habré logrado mi propósito:
viviré para siempre en ti, porque no podrás olvidar lo increíble que fue
nuestro tiempo juntos.

Al terminar las campanas que anuncian mi llegada, acuérdate de mí, respira
profundo y... ¡adelante!
