Anderson Cooper to speak at Tulane commencement

Anderson CooperCNN reporter and anchor Anderson Cooper will be the keynote speaker at Tulane University's spring commencement on May 15 in the Superdome.
Cooper, who joined CNN in 2001, spent more than a month reporting from the Louisiana-Mississippi Gulf Coast area after it was mauled by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. He wrote about that experience in "Dispatches From the Edge: A Memoir of War, Disasters and Survival."
The host of "Anderson Cooper 360," Cooper is a graduate of Yale University. He studied Vietnamese at the University of Hanoi.
