Anderson Cooper Egypt Tweet: Fear Has Been Defeated

It’s an historical day in Egypt.

After 30 years, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down from the presidency, according to Forbes.

And – CNN’s Anderson Cooper, one of the most outspoken journalists on the crisis in Egypt, just tweeted this poignant statement: “Fear has been defeated in #egypt, there is no turning back.”

As you may recall, Cooper’s life was in serious danger twice during this massive conflict. In one instance, he was punched in the head ten times and the following day his car was attacked.
