Stewart, A Big Fan; Cooper "Aww"

Anderson Cooper Tells Jon Stewart Criticism Of His Egypt Coverage Was “Weird”

Anderson Cooper appeared on The Daily Show and told Jon Stewart that he found criticism he received from the LA Times and from others for calling Egyptian President Mubarak a liar to be “weird.” Cooper wasn’t sure what else he was supposed to say when someone makes claims that are demonstrably untrue. The mostly serious interview did have an occasional laugh when Cooper referred to his warzone reporting as “war stuff” and when Stewart admitted he hates to see Cooper in dangerous places since he’s such a big fan, to which Cooper appropriately responded “aww.”
