Another Day With Anderson Cooper

After selling out its February 19 date, the Richmond Forum has booked another date with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper.

He will be making his second appearance on February 20 with tickets available here. The evening titled “A 360-Degree Look At World Events” covers his frontline reporting and perspective on current world events. Cooper has been a public voice for LGBT equality and advocate speaking out against teen bullying.

Anderson Cooper is the Emmy Award winning anchor of CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360°. In recent years Cooper has covered nearly every major news event around the world, often reporting from the scene; including the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti. Cooper also provides reports for CBS’s 60 Minutes and is the author of the New York Times bestseller,Dispatches from the Edge, based in part on his coverage of the tsunami in South Asia and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

The Richmond Forum is a lecture series bringing leaders from around the globe. First Lady Laura Bush and magician David Blaine are also booked for the 2010-2011 season.
