Kathy Griffin Will Drop Another F-Bomb During CNN New Year's Special

Kathy Griffin—against all odds, the often hilarious and always inappropriate comedic queen is back co-hosting CNN’s New Year’s Eve special with Anderson Cooper.
Despite blurting out an in expletive during the special for the last two years, and then being banned from the network, CNN is bringing Griffin back this year as if nothing ever happened—with one major difference, however.
On her recent appearance with radio shock-jock Howard Stern, Griffin says that CNN has placed a clause in her contract that allows them to yank her off the air if she drops any expletives.
“No it’s worse this time. This time I have in my contract that I can’t say f*ck. And this time they even said if I say f*ck they’re going to pull me from the air,” Griffin says, to an egging Stern who begged Griffin to let loose again this year.
More likely than not, Stern will get his wish, but CNN is obviously willing to take the risk because Griffin’s antics are such a rating’s draw.
The special will also reunite Griffin with CNN’s marquis co-host, Anderson Cooper.
“Once again, I'm terrified to be co-hosting CNN's New Year's Eve show with Kathy Griffin. It's often bitterly cold, and yet after being with her for a few minutes on live television, I find myself drenched in sweat," Cooper said in a statement.
