Why do people think Anderson Cooper is Gay?

Is there any "evidence" or justification for why he is accused of being gay? Because he doesn’t seem like he is at all.

What "evidence" would you need to know someone is gay? I would say he likely is; the gaydar of gay people is stronger then those in straight people as it would seem. He is also hot. Only hot people are gay.

Maybe because he’s in his 40s, thin, single and neat? XD
Also he’s pretty secretive when it comes to his personal life so people assume that his evasiveness means that he has something to hide. He’s a total silver fox, though.

He won’t even come out and admit he’s str8. All sightings are with men and rarely with women. Sightings of him at gay bars etc. Google him and there’s info (ex,, even people that used to work with him acknowledged he’s gay)

Well to be honest it is nobody’s business if he is or not. There are persistent rumours which he hasn’t denied and that seems to be the rationale behind it. And evidence or justification is highly speculative as he is a very private person.

And seriously who bases the judgement on someone’s sexuality because they dont act gay, not all gay men are fashionista screaming fairies or moustache wearing bikers.

“Accused” is not the right term, “accused” assumes he is either guilty or not of something bad. Anderson is “believed” to be gay, and rightfully so, for many reasons already expressed here in the comments above.

He is over 40, single, seen most often in the company of the owner of a gay bar in New York — Benjamin Maisani, a great looking, hot guy — and Anderson is sweet, caring, private and super HOT = Gay! Gay! GAY!
