As you have been reading in this blog, there are many stories floating on the Internet about what happened between Anderson, Benjamin and that gorgeous hunk in the park. Cheating? Open Relationship? Old Photos?... This story here, the latest of the bunch, seems to me to be the most plausible: no open relationship; Ben cheating! If this is the true, I'll cry for Anderson, after coming out and stating that he was happy, loved and in love, this new information is totally disheartening. Poor Anderson, I won't blame him for being quiet. He needs a few days of mourning with his friends and his Mom before he can face the public again.
On the other hand, I don't blame Benjamin too much since he has always played the invisible man in Anderson's life. It must have been a big sacrifice, especially for a totally out gay man to have to hide his love for another gay man only because that man was deep in his transparent closet. And even after Anderson came out, Anderson still has not mentioned Benjamin in any shape of form. And Benjamin must be really fed up with being there and not there at the same time.
I think that if Anderson makes the effort to acknowledge Benjamin in public more often, Benjamin would not have to look for compensation some place else. And if Anderson accepts the responsibility for his mistakes, perhaps they still have a chance to reconcile and get together again without cheating and with recognition of a love that seems to be strong enough to have already lasted for over three years.
I cry for both, but I hope they have learned their lessons and repair the damages made by both of them in order to continue a happy union that will hopefully arrive to the commitment of marriage.
I wish them both all the luck and love in the world and all the happiness only they can achieve.

Exclusive: How Anderson Cooper Found Out His Longtime Boyfriend Cheated on Him
Anderson Cooper is reeling after photos of his longtime boyfriend, Ben Maisani, kissing another man in an NYC park surfaced on Aug. 12, and now Life & Style can reveal exclusively how the Anderson Cooper 360 host found out about the news.
"Anderson was with Ben in Croatia when he was told about the photos," a source tells Life & Style. "They were on a yacht. They flew to Croatia on Aug. 11, one day after the photos were taken. Anderson's upset -- who wouldn't be?"
Anderson, 45, and Ben, 39, who have been together for more than three years, do not have an open relationship, a source close to Ben insists, so the betrayal has hit Anderson hard.
Last month, Anderson, 45, publicly admitted he was gay and happier than ever.
"The fact is, I'm gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn't be any more happy, comfortable with myself and proud," he said.
