Anderson To Tampa, FL. Sept 23

Anderson Cooper to appear

CNN's Anderson Cooper brings his "360 World View" tour to Tampa with an appearance at the Straz Center on Sept. 23.

The Emmy award-winning journalist's presentation includes a 45-minute lecture of Cooper's experiences covering the news from Hurricane Katrina to the uprising in Egypt and the race for president.

The evening also will include 45 minutes for questions from the audience.

Tickets are $99.50, $49.50 and $39.50 and go on sale at noon Friday. Post-show meet and greet packages also are available on a limited basis for $175.

Cooper's memoirs about his news career, "Dispatches from the Edge: A Memoir of War, Disasters, and Survival" recently landed on the New York Times bestsellers list.
