Racy Today On 'Anderson'

'Idol' Castoff Shannon Magrane on Steven Tyler's Racy Remark

There was some controversy during "Idol" castoff Shannon Magrane’s audition when Steven Tyler made a racy comment to her father, former St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Joe Magrane. While meeting the World Series pitcher during Shannon's audition, Tyler told him that Boston was "hot, humid and happening... just like your daughter."

In her interview with Anderson, airing on Tuesday, March 20, Shannon says the moment was "edited that way, but Steven Tyler did say that."

"He said that about me, but my dad was like, 'Oh it's just a Steve Tyler moment and let's just brush it off our shoulder,' says Shannon. It wasn't until the live show when she dad said to Ryan Seacrest, "Is there a wrestling mat anywhere?"
