Anderson Cooper mocks himself when talking about 'Jersey Shore,' Snooki

On Wednesday night, Anderson Cooper took a rare opportunity to actually make fun of himself when it came to putting himself on his famed "RidicuList." Why did he do it? It had to do first and foremost with his decision to put "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi on the list in the past for her decision to publish a novel entitled "A Shore Thing."

Here's the full explanation for Cooper's actions now. When he found out that Snooki was actually publishing another book next year, he quickly realized that the reality star had now bested him in the literary world -- and he therefore was not "worthy" of mocking her any more. (Of course, from here he preceded to read a ridiculous exceprt from her last literary masterpiece.)

Cooper also managed to get in a jab at his employer CNN during the segment, largely since the cable network actually decided to cover one of her book signings last year.
