May 20 - Don't Forget The Date!

.
I will probably start sooner than that!

Everybody Draw Mohammed Day May 20th, 2010

(02:06 min.)

From: neestle

Added: April 25, 2010

Description: Please download and re-up. Because of the great risk of chicanery, I encourage anyone who wants to do so to download this and spread it. (Youtube has already been iffy with the audio content. Ugh.)

May 20th, 2010 will be Everybody Draws Mohammed Day, where original art of the "Prophet" Mohammed will be made and published, all over the internet and hopefully in print and on television as well.

Most publishers/producers are cowards about this subject (as was Com. Cen.), but with a sufficient push, and a large enough pool to spread out the risk, this could wind up being a big event and a big win for freedom of expression.

Please spread the word about this (hopefully) annual event. Or make your own art, for submission to participating bloggers, websites, editorial pages, etc. TV? Where are you at? Anderson Cooper? Anyone at Fox REALLY care about freedom? Come on, O'Reilly, turn that moral outrage towards something of consequence for a change.

EDM Day 2010!
FOR freedom of conscience, FOR freedom of expression, and FOR anyone forced to work or live at the permission of these morons.

AGAINST bullying, intimidation, and sharia law.

Get out your pencils, your crayons, your water colors,
your oil tubes, your finger paints, anything you have handy
and let your imagination soar!

First Mohammed is not by me, it is by the famous and fantastic French artist, engraver, illustrator and sculptor Gustave Doré:

This work by Gustave Doré depicting Mohammed's sufferings as described in Dante's Inferno was also among those removed by Yale University Press from Professor Klausen's book.

Second Mohammed by yours truly, Immooregaisky Tanyouleverbinczi:

"Listen Anderson, women are the root of all evil, that's why I should have been a lot clearer in the Koran about the benefits of homosexuality, you know about that, right? But my followers -- being the macho guys that they are -- got it all wrong and now you see the disaster we have in our hands..."

This Mohammed is being interviewed by Anderson; but as you can tell, I am not a good painter of stick figures. Either way, you get the idea.

The cartoon above is the creation and responsibility of Peter,
Anderson Cooper had absolutely nothing to do with it.

If there is no post tomorrow, please go looking for my body -- minus the head, somewhere in the East River. Thanks.
