CNN's questions for your nominations are many. I print here a few of mine to help you with your decision, should you decide to take this task, and I hope you do:

My information was no problem, of course, but when it came time to enter Anderson's information, I had to do some research first: Anderson's zip code, I had to use the CNN studios in New York zip code = 10019

Where they ask: "Either an e-mail address or phone number is required." I wish I had known his e-mail address, but no such luck, so I opted to search for a CNN phone number, and this is what I found = (212) 276-7800

Next, there are 6 question that can be a bit head scratching, so here are those questions and my own answers so that you may get an idea of what the fuzz is all about. But don't trust my answers 100%, I too am a mere mortal and I may have misinterpreted one or two questions. Read at your own risk =

*In your own words, why does your nominee deserve recognition as a CNN Hero? Please describe in detail your nominee's specific accomplishment and what was involved in achieving it. Be sure to include the dates of the activities.

I nominate Anderson Cooper and the whole crew of CNN for their magnificent efforts to report about the earthquake in Haiti. Anderson Cooper in special for helping and taking a child out of danger.


*How have your nominee's efforts made a difference for the better? Please describe their impact, potential impact and how they have inspired others.

Anderson Cooper put the benefit of one child in need before his own job reporting about it. Anderson became THE news himself in an effort to help where help was needed.


*Is there a specific incident or turning point that motivated your nominee to take action? (100 word maximum)
The priority to help people instead of reporting which was why he was there.


Is there anything else that makes your nominee exceptional or unique? (100 word maximum)
Anderson Cooper, without any doubt, is the bravest and more exceptional reporter on all of American TV and, probably, in all the world as well.


How will being recognized as a CNN Hero further your nominee's cause? (50 word maximum)
I don't think Anderson needs anything to further his courage in a disastrous situation. Anderson Cooper will not only be a great reporter, but he will always be the Hero in any circumstances where needed. And his example will undoubtedly inspire others to do the same.
