In the "Women in Love with Prisoners" show, Anderson talks to women who are in intimate relationships with prisoners; many of these women met the prisoners through pen pal websites, such as WriteAPrisoner.com, founded by Adam Lovell.

Adam says he got the idea from prison ministries, who have been facilitating pen pal relationships between ministers and inmates for years. Adam decided to commercialize this idea to make it appealing to the general public.

"The dating is not what we do. We are a pen pal organization," Adam says. "It can [turn romantic], and it's not really something I bolster as pride, really. When you're dealing with this volume… you're going to have relationships form."
