In a daytime exclusive, Janet Jackson, five-time Grammy-winning recording artist and actress, joins Anderson for an unforgettable interview about her career, her personal life, her lifelong struggle with self-esteem and weight, and so much more.

Janet also discusses life after her brother Michael's passing. She also shares the shock and pain she felt after the recent death of music icon Whitney Houston.

Anderson asks Janet if she will be the new judge on "X-Factor." Then, three Janet fans get the surprise of a lifetime.

Janet's chef consultant, Andre Carthen, will share personal recipes he prepares for Janet, which keep her looking so good. Plus, Janet's longtime personal trainer, Tony Martinez, who Janet credits for her amazing body transformation, shares his secrets for looking good. See recipes!

Janet is currently working on an untitled movie with Lionsgate. She is also executive producing a documentary on transgender people, called "T Project," and plans to travel to the Sahel Belt in Africa to help the silent emergencies occurring there.

Plus, Anderson speaks with a woman who is currently serving 15 years in prison for killing her husband. Find out why she said she had no choice.

Women in Love with Prisoners

Today, Joran van der Sloot -- the man whose name first made headlines because of his suspected involvement in Natalee Holloway's 2005 disappearance -- was sentenced to 28 years in prison after pleading guilty to the 2010 murder of Stephany Flores in Peru. Despite all of this, 55-year-old American doctor Mary Hamer claims that she is his guardian angel. The two are not romantically involved, but Hamer has paid almost $100,000 to help the confessed murderer, whom she met after his arrest for Flores’ death.

Another one of today’s guests moved across the country with her three children after getting engaged to a convicted murderer she met through a prisoner pen pal website… who will not be eligible for parole for 34 years.

Also joining the conversation is a criminologist who explains the attraction that some women have to criminals, and warns of the danger in these unconventional relationships.
