Anderson Cooper releases first promo video for daytime talk show

In just a matter of two months, Anderson Cooper is going to be making his daytime debut. The longtime CNN host is expanding his brand to cover some more lighthearted topics, and we now have our first look at what the show is going to look like in terms of tone.
Cooper stresses in the video to the left [below] that he wants to create something that allows him to "enjoy life" and "laugh" -- a goal that came out of his father passing away at an early age. He also shows a little vulnerability in showing off some of his wrinkles on his forehead -- which he claims have come from excessive "worry" over the years.
While Anderson certainly has quite a pedigree as a journalist already, he is going to have a challenge trying to win over the female-heavy talk audience that is far and away different than his CNN program. With Oprah Winfrey gone from network TV, a new winner is ripe for the picking -- just don't expect "Anderson" (as the show is called) to be a runaway hit right away.
Matt Carter above says: "...don't expect "Anderson" ... to be a runaway hit right away."
Peter here say: Mark my words, Mr. Carter, "Anderson" WILL be a runaway hit right away! And this is not wishful thinking, I make my assessment on observations alone: the venue where the show will take place is great; the response from the people to "Anderson"'s YouTube channel, Twitter, Facebook and promos has been amazing; and, of course, the host himself, you could not ask for a better person to listen to and who will listen to you.
As a preview of "Anderson"'s success just look at Anderson's success the many times when he co-hosted the "Live with Regis and Kelly Show," his popularity and charms are definitely unique and we all can be sure that Anderson will bring that popularity and charms to his own show, and then some.
