Anderson Cooper Admits Rebecca Black’s 'Friday' Stuck in His Head

Anderson Cooper is the serious news type on CNN, but give him a personal question and expect to be giggling. The newsman took time to answer questions from fans around the world and shared his little Rebecca Black moment. Asked by a viewer what was the last song stuck in his head, the reporter gave an honest answer. The audience might have been expecting some opera piece or perhaps a Lady Gaga single, but somehow a young starlet was his choice.

According to Cooper, Rebecca Black's single, Friday, is stuck in his head. Sharing with the viewers some mumbling (or maybe it was humming) of the single which sounded nothing like the song, Anderson admitted to catching on to the Rebecca Black's trend late, leaving him thinking about her song and getting it stuck in his noggin. The Friday single captured an audience around the world who loved or hated the song to the point of making it a trend for weeks on Twitter and other social media.

Taking time to interact with the fans, Anderson Cooper is getting ready for his upcoming daytime show to hit the air in September. Extraordinarily personal, Anderson really is showing a different side of the man seen around the world reporting hard news. Nothing wrong with that, but hope is that he won't hum that single when interviewing an international diplomat.
