Last Spitzer
CNN to shift Anderson Cooper, add Erin Burnett in new schedule

Tonight is Eliot Spitzer’s last on “In the Arena,” and the program will be gone next month. But CNN is in talks with Spitzer, the former New York governor, about a new role, a network spokeswoman said.
Starting Aug. 8, “AC360,” hosted by Anderson Cooper, will shift to 8 p.m. and replace “In the Arena.” Cooper’s program will repeat at 10 p.m.
In the fall at 7 p.m., CNN will roll out a new program headline by Erin Burnett, formerly of CNBC. Her program will repeat at 11 p.m.
“Piers Morgan Tonight” will continue to air at 9 p.m. and midnight. “John King USA” will be at 6 p.m. “The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer” will air from 4 to 6 p.m. “CNN Newsroom” will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Peter's Note:
If Eliot Spitzer's "In The Arena" has its last broadcast last night, July 6, 2011, and Anderson's AC360 won't move into that spot until August 8, Who will fill in the space for that vacant month? Sponge Bob Square Pants, I hope.
