YouTube Sensation Phil Davison Follows Up Unhinged Speech With Unhinged 'Red Eye' Appearance (VIDEO)

Phil Davison, an Ohio politician whose unhinged, 'Braveheart'-style, plea to be treasurer of Stark County made him a viral sensation, was at it again during an interview on 'Red Eye' (Weekdays, 3 AM ET on Fox News.)

Greg Gutfeld asked Davison if he had a girlfriend, and Davison took this seemingly innocent question in a wacky, somewhat deranged direction.

It turns out Davison's girlfriend wants Davison to become the radical "he always wanted to be." And how is he supposed to do that?

"(I need to) get other radicals into the fold," Davison explained, passion swelling. "Get Roland Martin, Rachel Maddow, Harvey from TMZ, go get Rich Sanchez or Anderson Cooper -- he keeps it real!" Davison screamed, head bobbing all over the place. "James Carville, the raggin' Cajun, come join me, let's have a political revolution!"

"I got to tell you, it sounded like you just pulled names that you saw on TV," was how Gutfeld responded to Davison list of revolutionary radicals.

Phil Davison claims to have never heard of YouTube before he became a star on it. But he certainly seems to be embracing his new-found Internet fame.
