June 6, 2006 is a date I have never forgotten and I will never forget for the rest of my life. June 6, 2006 was the first day I ever saw Anderson face to face. I was so close to him I could see his soul through the unusual blue color of his beautiful eyes. That was the first day he spoke about and signed his new book "Dispatches From The Edge" at the Barns & Noble store at Union Square in New York.Tomorrow, Thursday, May 13, 2010 will be another day I will never forget. Tomorrow my life partner Alan and I will be going to Anderson's first "Anderson Cooper 360º Live" at the CNN studios, we got our tickets confirmation last week and we will be first in line if possible at 2:30 PM for the show that will begin at 4:00 PM. I will take tons of notes and you'll be the first to read my account by the end of the day, or, if it gets to be too late or too complicated, you'll read all about it first thing on Friday.
