Let The Awards Begin
Cooper Wins Sidney Award
By Kevin Allocca on Feb 17, 2010 11:19 AM
• CNN's Anderson Cooper -- along with producer Charlie Moore and cameraman Neil Hallsworth -- has been awarded the January Sidney Award "for his network's unrivaled coverage of the devastation following the recent earthquake in Haiti." The Sidney Award is a monthly social justice journalism award given by the Hillman Foundation. Cooper returned to Haiti last week to continue coverage, though at least one writer was not as impressed during the second go-around.
