The CW is using CNN star Anderson Cooper to help sell its new reality show "High Society." Sort of.
TV MoJoe has snagged an exclusive first look at a new promo for the Tinsley Mortimer reality show in which the focus is on Paul Johnson Calderon, part of Mortimer's outrageous entourage. In the clip, Calderon's mom is seen expressing her frustration that her gay son hasn't yet found true love.
"I would love it if he met someone like Anderson Cooper," she says.
Later, Calderon lobbies his mommy dearest to part with $50,000 of his trust fund -- and throws a fit when she doesn't immediately agree.
"I didn't realize I was coming today to have tea with Mussolini!" Calderon exclaims.
"Jersey Shore" refugees starving for a fix may have found something to get them over until MTV's megahit returns.
"High Society" premieres Wednesday, March 10 at 9:30 p.m.
