Anderson Cooper is teaming up with Time magazine for a special look at The World's Most Influential People.
CNN announced that the news network would air the one-hour special edition of Anderson Cooper 360° on May 1 in conjunction with the release of the Time 100 special issue. The program, anchored by Cooper, will feature interviews with the magazine's honorees, conducted by other influencers.
George Clooney — a four-time honoree — will sit down with U2 frontman and activist Bono to chat about fame and politics. The special will also feature a conversation between CNN founder Ted Turner and Texas oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens. Business journalist Suzy Welch will interview finance expert and author Suze Orman. (Someone tell Kristen Wiig to get a Saturday Night Live sketch ready.)
Sneak peeks of the special will be unveiled in advance on the Anderson Cooper 360° blog. The full list of honorees can be found in the Time issue that hits newsstands May 1. The CNN special will air that night at 11 pm/ET.
Who do you think are the world's most influential people?
