Anderson on Friday

As mentioned this past Tuesday, the Instaputz blog announced that Letterman, besides hosting Michael Keaton and Lily Allen, will show "a bit with Anderson Cooper and an orphanage that's really quite wonderful." Keep an eye for it.

"Late Show with David Letterman" (11:35 p.m. ET, CBS)

"The Tonight Show" (11:35 p.m. ET, NBC) host Jay Leno has been hospitalized. He was going to host Kathleen Madigan, Brad Paisley AND Anderson Cooper on Friday's night show but instead it will be replaced with a repeat. NBC has not said yet wich rerun they will be showing. The network spokeperson say Mr. Leno is resting comfortably and writing jokes from his hospital bed. He's even testing out his material on doctors and nurses.

So, the conflict of Anderson being on Jay Leno and Letterman at the same time on the same night is no longer a conflict... only a disappointment.
