Bullied to death: Anderson Cooper features the Carl Walker-Hoover story on CNN

SPRINGFIELD - Anderson Cooper's 360 on CNN will examine the Carl Walker-Hoover story tonight.

Eleven-year-old Walker-Hoover hanged himself at his Northampton Avenue home April 6 after complaining of bullying by classmates at the New Leadership Charter School.

His mother, Sirdeaner L. Walker, will be interviewed on the program, and there will be a discussion of childhood bullying.

The tragedy Walker has said her son suffered taunts and threats from other students who made fun of him, insulted the way he dressed and called him gay since he began attending the school in September.

The program is scheduled for 10 p.m.
