Ben-Gal Cheerleader Appears on "Anderson"


A Ben-Gals cheerleader talks to a national television audience today about a website she says ruined her life. It was a chance for Sarah Jones to confront the man named in her defamation lawsuit.

The website is called the Dirty.com and the people who contribute to it are collectively known as the "dirty army". They don't fight fair because they don't have to. They've made a casualty out of a local woman's reputation. Today, she got her chance to retaliate.

Sarah Jones went on the "Anderson Cooper" show on Local 12 on Thursday to confront the man she says is ruining her reputation. The Ben-Gals cheerleader discovered her picture and several allegations she says aren't true. The posts are taking a toll her and her family.

Website owner Nik Richie says the posts are made anonymously and that he is not responsible for how other people express their opinions about Jones or anyone else featured on his site.

In addition to being an NFL cheerleader, Jones is also a high school teacher at Dixie Heights. She says the false allegations harm her image as a role model.

Jones says Richie is threatening her career as a teacher. She has filed a lawsuit against Richie and his site. A federal judge is scheduled to hear arguments in the defamation of character lawsuit on December 9th.
