Brittany, a mother of two, believes that when she gets high on illegal drugs (what she calls her "medicine"), she can function as a normal person.
Brittany's addiction to painkillers began four years ago, after she had a C-section. Every seven minutes she would press a button, and it would insert drugs into her system.
After that, she was put me on Oxycodone and slowly became addicted. She was going through postpartum depression and says she "just wanted a fix."

Description: The ninth season of Bravo's "Top Chef" promises to be an exciting one. Based in various Texas cities, the show will move locations four times.
"Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi talks to Anderson about the excitement (and stress) of the new season.
"It was really hard moving the show," Padma says. "It was hard for me personally because I had all this stuff to move and my kid is on set with me."
Along with the stress of moving, however, comes the excitement of new cuisine on the show. Padma tells Anderson that while much of the "Top Chef" cuisine will be inspired by local Texas cuisine, most of the show's flavor is up to the chefs.
