Anderson explores the controversial new TLC series, "All-American Muslim," which hasn't aired a single episode, but already has people calling for a boycott. Anderson speaks with several cast members, as well as opponents of the show, and has an open discussion about American Muslims living in the US post-9/11, including Melanie Oberg, who started a Facebook page encouraging others to boycott the show.
Cast member Shadia, who is on the rebellious side of the religion (she refuses to wear a hijab, and sports tattoos and piercings) and her husband Jeff (of Irish descent but converted to Islam when they married), will discuss the controversy with Anderson, and Jeff's family's initial opposition to his conversion.
Modern Muslim couple Nawal and Nader will also speak with Anderson about raising an American Muslim child.
