◼ Rachel Maddow Shows Video of Man Being Teabagged in Gay Bar No Bias at MSNBC. The idea behind the Tea Parties was The Boston Tea Party, and the talking heads at MSNBC know it. But in an effort to take the Tea Parties out, Anderson Cooper and others at MSNBC took to snickering on air, tying the sexually explicit slur to the movement. Now, Maddow asserts that those behind the Tea Parties should have done their “research” and KNOWN that the term “Teabagger” meant. Look, Rachel, the thing is, this is a REAL grassroots movement, not a phony Soros-funded scam. They don’t have think tanks ...
My comment to them:
- You don't need a Master's degree to "research" and find out that the original "Teabaggers" had their party in Boston 1773. But we are in 2009, and the Urban Dictionary defines the word as: 1. n. A man that dips his scrotum and testicles into the mouth of another person. (as if dipping a tea bag into hot water) -- and 2. n. A conservative activist who is so ignorant that they protest against tax cuts (that benefit them) by throwing tea into a river.
And the New Oxford American Dictionary considers "Teabagger" as one of their finalist words in the "Word of the Year" selection.
Please don't blame the media for doing their "research" and coming up with the right definition for the Tea Party Teabaggers of 2009.
