HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. - CNN's Anderson Cooper is taking his week-long series focusing on the economy to the Hofstra University campus on Long Island.
"Anderson Cooper 360" will broadcast live from Hofstra in Hempstead at 10 p.m. Thursday.
The college played host last October to the final presidential debate of the campaign season.
Hofstra President Stuart Rabinowitz says Cooper's visit is another opportunity for the students to focus on important issues facing the country.
He said Cooper's visit is part of a new educational series, Define '09. It looks at the challenges and opportunities facing the new presidential administration.
E, Are you going? I hope so. If you do, please take lots of pictures and tell him hello for me! Thanks.
