Despite rumors of a reunion with cheating BF, ANDERSON COOPER has been a VERY busy boy anchor.

DEVASTATED by his boyfriend’s cheating, Cooper has turned to just the right guy to cheer him up and help heal his broken heart – witty Bravo TV honcho ANDY COHEN.

And Andy couldn’t be more delighted. The gay TV exec has had a long-term “man crush” on Anderson, say sources.

“Right now Andy knows that all Ander­son needs is a friend to be there for him, but he hopes that in time there could be more,” declared an insider.

The CNN anchor, 45, and Andy recently jetted off on vacation with pals, including Kel­ly Ripa, to help Anderson bounce back from the shocking infidelity of his longtime boy­friend, bar owner Ben Maisani.

In July 2011, The ENQUIRER revealed that Andy, 44, the brains behind the “Real Housewives” franchise, was trying to steal the CNN hunk away from his boyfriend.

Their vacation took them to Croatia, where the two spent time together watching the setting sun.

“They both posted the same photo of a beautiful sunset on­line within minutes of each other,” said the insider. “Ander­son’s always liked Andy because he’s a true TV impresario even though he’s a little outrageous at times.” The popular newsman was still re­covering from kicking 39-year-old Ben out of his Manhattan apartment and calling off their engagement after pictures emerged of the gay bar owner in a passionate clinch with a man in a New York City park.

“Live-wire Andy is the perfect person to cheer him up,” said the insider. “And Andy’s hoping Anderson’s next move is directly into his arms.”
